At least… that’s how I felt before having kids.

When my first child was born, the idea of a journey suddenly felt overwhelming. Impossible, even.

Where do I start?
What do I pack?
What does this tiny human need for a 4+ hour drive when I barely know what I’m doing at home — where everything is within arm’s reach?

But like so many things in life, we figured it out.

My now two-year-old has logged over thirty 4+ hour road trips and four flights — and our baby is well on the way to catching up. With all that time spent in transit, we’ve learned the tried-and-true methods that turn stressful travel days into enjoyable beginnings.
